20/11 Our collaborative work on methylated S-carvone derivatives evaluated as novel modulators of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) is online in Bioorganic chemistry journal! The core of the study focused on comprehensive biological and immunological investigations to reveal their impact on macrophage M1/M2 polarization.
06/11 Last week, our PhD student Denisa attended the 59th Conference on Advances in Organic, Bioorganic, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry – Liblice 2025. She presented her research on tetracyclic skeletons and their applications in natural product synthesis. The conference featured engaging discussions on various topics in organic chemistry and more!

24/10 Last Friday, we had great pleasure of welcoming representatives of the Experientia Foundation. Our research group presented ongoing projects supported by the 2024–2026 Experientia start-up grant, discussed future directions and more.
17/10 Great to have Prof. Thomas Magauer at our department! His lecture on Radical–Polar Cyclizations in Natural Product Synthesis was truly inspirational and motivating.
